Hi, I'm Madison, a proud 5th generation Montanan living in Bozeman! Born and raised soaking in the beauty of Montana's outdoors—You can find me riding my horses, fly fishing with my dad, and attending rodeos in the summer. My favorite winter activities are hunting, snowmobiling, and skiing.
This blog started when my husband started on his military journey, and we toughed out a 3-year long-distance relationship when we were first married. It became my haven, a comfort zone where, during solitary nights, I found solace in writing, crafting recipes, and sharing adventures. Admittedly, when life gets hectic, the blog takes a backseat, but sharing tips, adventures, and advice is a passion of mine. I like to think of this space as an online scrapbook! Numerous professional bloggers advised me to "narrow down" my content, but I simply can't stick to one topic. So, bear with me and my ADHD’s desire to cover a wide array of subjects—it might not be as polished as others, but it's authentically me!
The biggest part of this blog will be recipes! What drives me batty with other blogs is the 10 paragraph intro and 50 ads I have to click out of. NOT HERE! I'm truly passionate about growing my own veggies, hunting, and supporting our local farmers and ranchers. It's a vital part of Montana's way of life, and I encourage everyone support them whenever possible. My ultimate goal in life is to have a homestead where I can have a huge garden, chickens, and livestock! I usually cook by heart, so it's been VERY challenging for me to put together recipes that others can follow. I hope they turn out great, but I'm sorry if they're not perfect right away!
Secondly, I LOVE fashion, so here's my best shot at blogging about it! For me, how you present yourself matters; always put your best foot forward! 90% of the time, I will choose style over comfort. I don't mind standing out as the most dressed-up person in the room, and neither should you! My fashion choices have always been a bit different, but that's never bothered me. I've worn scrubs to work for the past nine years, but now, in Corporate America, I've found my style as business casual with a Western flair. I'll be sharing posts about my favorite boots, cowgirl hats, winter outfits, hunting gear, and more.
Step into my world, where Montana's outdoor adventures, flavorful recipes, and a touch of corporate cowgirl style collide. Thanks for joining me on this journey—I appreciate you being here every step of the way!
